We've Left January Behind

Lots happening at the moment! Plenty of new tracks on their way to the internet machine. Big thank you to everyone listening, downloading and sharing songs through Soundcloud, there has been a flurry of activity recently. I wanted to get a new mix done after Christmas still haven't been able to get around to that, mainly due to setting up in my new house and all (sly brag there)! What If Was Smiling & Running Into Your Arms

This will be the forth track I've completed on this recent downtempo house/chillstep sway. Fairly happy with how it turned out, the one thing I feel these latest productions are lacking is more emphasis on the drops. I'll have to suss that one out! Hope you enjoy this one, there will be another one up sometime next week! 

Emily Underhill Remix

I stumbled upon Emily Underhill last week on a random soundcloud adventure and one of her tracks just screamed out for a remix. Emily is a composer producing some awesome fusion chillout tunes, merging classical acoustic instruments with some intelligent electronic additions. The song I chose to remix was the title track from her second EP, "Fly". I hope you enjoy my twist on this one and as with all my remixes, you can pick up a free download over on soundcloud.

Lights Remix

Just unleashed this to Youtube and Soundcloud. A little remix I've been working on of Lights - Everybody Breaks A Glass. Lights is a Canadian recording artist producing some fresh synthpop tunes. Everybody Breaks A Glass is from her second album Siberia, well worth a listen along with her first album The Listening. I wanted to change the original into a smoother, more flowing, ambient track but still keep the vibe from her voice. Onward

Lots happening on the music front at the moment. There will most likely be an unhealthy amount of new tracks appearing in January. I have also acquired my first mixer, so some more interesting mixes should take form as well. It's a shame I will be entering the new year at work but should be getting down to this awesome event In:Motion Presents - Shapes New Years Day! to compensate! 

Fossil

Fossil is my latest production and represents a dramatic change, firstly in my production methods and secondly in genre. I approached this song trying to completely detach myself from standard procedure, so no hi-hats, no snares, no bass drum. I was rather surprised with the result, I hope you enjoy it!
